The role The Admissions and Recruitment Manger is a key member of the Vogue College of Fashion admissions and marketing team in Madrid and will work on a variety of programs including master’s, diploma, online course, professional courses, and pre-college programs. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, able to write clearly and concisely, and possess a curiosity about contemporary culture, including the fashion world. Successful candidates will demonstrate a quick understanding of new concepts and be a steward of the Vogue global brand. This role will provide insight and access to a 360- degree view of admissions and recruitment strategies including prospective student engagement, data analysis, and market research. Duties and Responsibilities • Act as the first point of contact with prospective students and applicants by managing email enquiries, phone calls, consultations, and campus tours • Collaborate with the admissions team to determine a conversion strategy to engage applicants throughout the admissions process, including calling campaigns and surveys • Assist with admissions strategies across all programs, ranging from master's degrees to precollege programs • Responsible for the processing and first level screening of applications across the full portfolio of master’s and online programs. • Contribute to research, reporting, and analysis around admissions initiatives • Assist in crafting copy and assembling assets for the website, admissions materials, email blasts, etc • Support the planning, organizing, and delivery of all on and off campus recruitment events such as open days, information sessions, taster days, and represent the College at student recruitment events in Spain and abroad. • Co-coordinate outreach strategies with the admissions team including oversight of the communication plan to address domestic and international inquiries and advise prospective students on the admissions processes and visa concerns. • Liaise with faculty and administrative leadership to ensure smooth operation of admissions processes and work collaboratively to identify and implement improvements to enhance the applicant experience and efficiency of operation The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual undertaking this position. Knowledge and Abilities • Educated to degree level equivalent • Experience of working in admissions, marketing, or recruitment • Strong ability to conduct business in English and Spanish • Experience with automated database systems, including a CRM (Salesforce, preferable) and Student Information Systems • Ability to navigate the needs of prospective students, company stakeholders, and institutional partners • Exceptional written, public speaking, and organizational skills • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and data-driven • Track record of success in meeting or exceeding enrollment or sales goals • Support and embrace diversity and inclusion • Regular weekday (Monday-Friday) in-person attendance/availability during core business hours, with the ability to work from home up to one day per week Please note the following: Benefits include 22 days annual leave plus 4 days additional leave during the Christmas or Holy Week period, plus 4 days additional for personal matters, health insurance (upon approval by the insurer), life & accident insurance.
