Building Services Manager

Senior Building Services Manager Our client, a reputale and established main contractor, are seeking an experienced Senior Building Services Manager to lead the MEP delivery on a high-profile new build project. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of building services from design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and handover — ensuring quality, compliance, and programme delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the building services function across multiple packages within a new build construction project. Coordinate with design, commercial, and construction teams to ensure MEP elements integrate seamlessly with the overall build. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations. Oversee the review of design drawings, value engineering, and technical submittals. Drive programme delivery, risk management, and progress reporting to project leadership. Ensure MEP systems are commissioned, tested, and handed over in accordance with client and statutory requirements. Engage with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain excellent communication and relationships throughout the project lifecycle. About You Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Proven track record managing MEP services on large-scale new build projects (£10m value). Strong knowledge of current building regulations, sustainability standards, and best practice in modern construction. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage complex technical packages and drive performance across multidisciplinary teams. Desirable Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward professional registration. Experience with BIM and digital construction tools. Previous experience in [specific sector, e.g., commercial, residential, education, healthcare].
