HV Cable Jointer – Power & Utilities Industry South East England (occasional UK & Europe travel) £38,836 – £48,679 per annum overtime benefits NEOS Engineering are partnered with a leading Power & Utilities contractor specialising in high-voltage infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe. We’re looking for experienced HV Cable Jointers to join their growing team, working on 11kV and 33kV cable systems. If you’ve got strong hands-on experience in HV jointing and terminating, and take pride in delivering safe, high-quality work, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company that genuinely values its engineers. Key Responsibilities: Terminate and joint various cable types, including PILC, XLPE, Fluid, and PICAS. Carry out repair, maintenance, and installation of Medium and High Voltage cables to industry standards. Conduct inspections to ensure quality and safety in line with manufacturer and company procedures. Perform testing on insulation, voltage, phasing, sheath, and pressure for MV cables. Accurately complete all relevant site and safety documentation, including Risk Assessments, Test Records, and Site Reports. Collaborate with the wider team to identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently. Attend company training and assessments as required to maintain and enhance competence. Uphold the highest health and safety standards at all times. Requirements: Proven experience in HV Cable Jointing and Terminating (11kV & 33kV). Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and jointing standards. Competent with hand and power tools relevant to cable jointing. Ability to work across a range of jointing environments, including construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Valid UK Driving Licence . Experience on UKPN or National Grid networks highly desirable.
