We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Assistant Team Leader to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent position. Main Duties Manufacturing Assistant Team Leader: As the Manufacturing Assistant Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned areas in support of the Department Team Leader. Executing daily production plans for your assigned area, providing support and adaptability as needed. Ensuring full loading of direct operators to maximise production output and meet daily targets. Fostering an environment focused on maximising performance, efficiency, and profitability. Managing absence control, Health & Safety (H&S), and Continuous Improvement Initiatives. Motivating your team and maintaining a productive and positive atmosphere. Knowledge/Experience Required Manufacturing Assistant Team Leader: A minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Solid understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles and Continuous Improvement processes. Experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry is preferred. A good standard of education; literate and numerate, capable of writing and formulating reports. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Forth Shift (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Additional Details Manufacturing Assistant Team Leader: Shifts: Weekly rotating day shifts, Monday to Friday (05:00-12:40 / 13:00-20:40) Salary: Competitive salary of £31,789 Shift Allowance of £2,496 per annum Overtime: Opportunity for overtime paid at 1.5x and 2.0x rates.
