Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required Qualifications: Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases. Associate’s degree or higher required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with an emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty. OR Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with an emphasis in radiologic technology. OR Completion of a Paramedic training program.
