Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Organize and lead projects related to new facilities, industrial buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, configurations, renovations, and optimization. Manage capital investments, including advanced manufacturing engineers, New Product Introduction (NPI) engineers, and NPI manufacturing engineers. Develop specialized knowledge in their discipline and serve as a resource for best practices/quality. Stay informed about the latest technical developments in their area. Contribute to the development of strategies and policies, ensuring results within their area of responsibility. Possess in-depth knowledge of best practices and how their area integrates with others, as well as practical knowledge of competition and market differentiation factors. Exercise judgment to make decisions and manage moderately complex activities or issues in operational areas, product management, manufacturing, technology, or design. Adopt new perspectives on existing solutions and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues. Utilize experience and technical expertise to analyze data and support recommendations. Leverage multiple internal resources and limited external resources within their function to reach decisions. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explain difficult and sensitive information and work to build consensus. Qualifications/Requirements Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering Knowledge of Product architectures and relevant technical requirements, design solutions, technologies, validation/certification approach Strong experience in Manufacturing Engineering with increasing responsibilities throughout the years Ability to set and monitor multiple priorities, coordinate projects/activities of others Ability to manage complex multi-year technical programs in a matrix resource environment Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as per GE Leadership Behaviors Fluent English and Italian, oral and written Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired characteristics : Knowledge of GE engineering, manufacturing, and design processes Strong process discipline with sound analytic and statistical skills Financial and business acumen Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion What we offer Smart working and work life-balance Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
