Quantity Surveyor - Plumbing experience required

a well-established plumbing contractor based in Cape Town, is looking to employ an experienced and capable quantity surveyor who has experience in the plumbing sector of the construction industry. Candidates are to meet the following criteria before applying for the position: A minimum of 5 years experience in the PLUMBING INDUSTRY. Be competent in using quantity surveying software for both estimating and progress claims/valuations. Have a good understanding of the N/S JBCC contract agreement. Have a methodical and accurate work ethic. Have a good understanding of plumbing reticulation design and installation methods. The position will require candidates to efficiently and accurately complete the following tasks as part of their employment contract. Monthly cost reporting. Compiling monthly progress claims for allocated projects. Variation costings and approvals. Estimating for new projects, both BOQ and take-off. Managing job costs and reports in Buildsmart. Site measures and reporting for monthly valuations. Remuneration will be based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: R20 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month Education: Diploma (Preferred)
