Senior Clinical Psychologist – Neurorehabilitation Location: York Salary: £55,690 – £62,682 DOE £6,000 Golden Hello Bonus ⏰ Hours: 35 per week Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a passion for neurorehabilitation? This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team in York for one of our clients, providing psychological and neuropsychological expertise to adults with acquired brain injury. You’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring that evidence-based, person-centred rehabilitation is delivered across a multidisciplinary service. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI). Develop and implement collaborative rehabilitation formulations and SMART goals. Lead on psychological and neurobehavioural interventions within a multidisciplinary framework. Offer specialist input to risk assessment, behaviour management, and therapeutic planning. Provide consultation, supervision, and training to colleagues and family members. Contribute to research, service development, and data reporting as required. Undertake psychologically-based therapeutic work using a range of models and modalities. Participate in the on-call support rota for the service. About You Degree in Psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) for GBR. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (BPS accredited) or equivalent qualification. HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical). Strong interest in clinical neuropsychology and brain injury rehabilitation. Knowledge of ABI pathology, neuroanatomy, and rehabilitation approaches (including TBI, CVA, hypoxia, and encephalopathy). Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience within a relevant clinical setting. Skilled in report writing, interdisciplinary working, and promoting psychological thinking within teams.
