The School of Employability at South Thames College is seeking engaging and inspiring Sessional Lecturers in Construction and Green Skills to teach any of the following: L1 Certificate in Skills for Employment in the Construction Industries L3 Award in the Installation of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems L3 Certificate in Retrofit Advisors (CG) L2 Award in Retrofit (CG) L3 Award in the Requirements for the Design & Installation of Domestic and Small Commercial Electric Vehicle Charging Installations L3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pumps Systems The courses will be delivered face-to-face (classroom) at South Thames Colleges Wandsworth campus. All courses are evening classes. The hourly teaching rate includes an element for planning, delivery assessing/feeding back to learners. With a relevant professional qualification in one or more of the subject and industry experience, we would like you to hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) with excellent current teaching skills. Youll have demonstrable commitment to relevant continuous professional development including mandatory training with experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations standards. Youll have a high level of computer literacy and practical digital skills, including experience delivering remote learning with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and good attention to detail. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 10th November 2025.
