Stores Manager

Stores Person / Central London: £35k Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with a Property and Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Stores Person. My client is an established Property and Maintenance Service Provider, predominantly looking after the Social Housing sector across Greater London. Reporting to the Stores Manager, the Stores Person will play a crucial role in managing stock, recording inventory, returns and replenishment. Working closely and collaboratively with Engineers, Purchasing Department and Contracts Managers, the Stores Person will perform quality check function for goods and parts received as well as ensuring goods received are stored in the relevant location of the stores department. Key Duties: Manage stock, record inventory, returns and replenishment. Undertake stock counts and reconciliation against inventory. Ready materials to engineers for daily work. Use stores requisition system and keep records. Provide counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items. Keep/ maintain stores areas in a clean, tidy, and safe condition. About you: Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components associated with repairs and i nstallation works. Knowledge of construction or building services sector. Experience in working to deadlines in a busy office environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. IT literate. Strong communication skills.
