The Cold Section Deputy System Engineer works with the Cold Section System Integration leader and is responsible of the NPI execution aimed to support design and integration activities, as required to fulfill Engineering relevant milestones. In this role you will work within the Military Design Engineering section as Deputy System Engineer for the Cold Section relevant sub system and components and will interface Italian Military customer / Engine development partners (Rolls Royce and IHI) / Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Quality and Sourcing). Job Description Essential Responsibilities Own system activities at cold section level Integrate & support sub systems level design activities Define and control interfaces between Engine sub systems Define and control product configuration at Engine System level in accordance to Company Policies and Procedures Proactive resolution of any technical issue escalated at Engine System level Qualifications/Requirements Master’s degree in mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university Previous experience on systems engineering role Previous experience in mechanical design and baseline use of CAD tools (Unigraphics) Great accountability/collaboration & interpersonal/communication skills External technical relationship experience Good execution/coordination skills. Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Previous experience with New Product Development (NPI) process Previous experience in requirements management and related tools Experience in aero‑engines component or module design. Previous experience in cost and value engineering.
