About Us Grwp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 as a result of mergers between Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It employs 2,000 staff and delivers courses to around 21,000 students, including over 1,500 higher education students, across Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd. The Grwp aims to support the economy of North Wales by equipping local people with the skills and qualifications needed to ensure the competitiveness and success of the region. Job Purpose - You will join a team of lecturers responsible for delivering education in Further Education and/or Higher Education, on Health and Social Care and Childcare courses. Approximately 200 students study bilingually within the Health and Care Department across the two campuses in Dolgellau and Pwllheli. We offer Level 2 and Level 3 courses including Health and Social Care and Childcare and an Access to Higher Education (Health Care), L4 to L6 Health and Social Care course, and the Welsh Baccalaureate. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on the Further Education and/or Higher Education courses in line with their area of ??expertise. Our departments success is measured by the high-quality teaching and opportunities we provide to our learners. In the Summer 2025 Health and Social Care A-Level results, our students achieved a 100% success rate. Our students often achieve grades above the national comparator. Contract Type - Permanent, Part Time Weekly hours - 18.5 hours per week. 417.5 hours annual teaching time 12 to 13 hours teaching per week. Up to 2.5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager. Annual leave - ? 46 days leave per annum. ? All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. ? Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually. ? Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above. Pension Provider - Teachers Pension Scheme
