Product Manager (Contract) Location: Leeds/Newcastle Clearance: SC | Duration: 6- 9 months | Rate: £450 - 475 day | IR35: Inside Hybrid - Monthly Travel We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive product strategy, vision, and delivery within a complex, fast-paced UK Government environment. The successful candidate will define product roadmaps, value propositions, and problem spaces, collaborating across teams to deliver business value. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective product visions, strategies, value propositions, and roadmaps. Work across Agile and traditional delivery approaches, supporting all phases of the lifecycle. Operate independently, managing uncertainty and multiple concurrent projects. Define problem spaces and articulate initial hypotheses for exploration. Build strong working relationships with delivery managers and cross-functional teams. Apply user-centred design principles, balancing competing priorities to deliver value. Communicate and influence senior stakeholders, embedding product management approaches and best practices. Engage stakeholders across organisational boundaries to gain buy-in for problem statements and solutions. Essential: Proven experience as a Product Manager in UK Government/public sector or complex digital programmes. Active SC Clearance . Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills. Skilled in Agile and traditional delivery methods.
