Financial Manager – Agricultural Export Sector

A leading player in the agricultural and export industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Manager to oversee the financial and administrative functions within the group. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, technical, and people management skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee full financial management and reporting functions, including monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and cash flow control. Manage year-end processes, audits, and financial compliance in line with IFRS for SMEs. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and reporting systems. Lead and support a finance team, providing strategic and operational guidance to management and production departments. Manage treasury and foreign exchange transactions, including forecasting and reconciliations. Prepare and analyse financial data to support business decisions and report to senior management. Requirements Degree in Financial Accounting or related field with completed articles . Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior financial management role. CA(SA) preferred. Proven experience within the agriculture or export sector (including exposure to forex and budgeting). Strong technical understanding of accounting and costing principles. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and financial systems. Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required.
