Head Of Maintenance - Witney, OX28 5DG - Circa £40kpa Permanent Contract:40 hrs per week Shift Pattern:Mainly Monday to Friday, may require occasional weekend work and some on call. Working in the stunning setting of BUPA Richmond Village in Witney. Role Purpose The Head of Maintenance will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all physical aspects across Richmond Village Witney to include overseeing the maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents. Our residents quality of life and care depend upon the safe and exceptional standard of the facilities and service we provide. The Head of Maintenance is responsible for building an exceptional team, ensuring that they and their work meet the standards required by our residents. As our Head of Maintenance,youll ensure that the necessary maintenance and repair tasks are completed to the highest standard and the Village always remains fully functional. Youll help us make health happen by: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance and grounds team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Collaborate with village departments, such as operational management, leisure, housekeeping, reception, and sales to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational goals. Key Skills & Requirements: Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or hospitality environment. Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Qualification within health and safety working practices - IOSH Managing Safely Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prioritise repairs. Because we care for vulnerable people, well need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
