Site/Quality Manager – BESS & PV Project (Scotland) Location: Kirkcaldy Rate: £400/day (Outside IR35) Duration: January 2026 – April 2027 Commitment: Ad-hoc (1–2 days/week) Hours: Up to 10 hours/day Are you an experienced Site or Quality Manager with a strong background in civil, electrical, HSE, and construction oversight? We’re looking for a proactive professional to support a cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Solar PV site in Kirkcaldy. The Role You’ll be responsible for: Overseeing site activities across civil, electrical, and construction disciplines Ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards Liaising with contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations Providing expert input and reporting on site progress and issues This is a part-time, ad-hoc role (1–2 days per week), with site attendance scheduled based on activity — days may vary week to week, but will be communicated in advance to support your planning. What We’re Looking For Proven experience managing renewable energy or infrastructure sites Strong understanding of BESS and PV technologies Excellent knowledge of HSE and quality assurance processes Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site Comfortable with flexible scheduling and site-based work Full UK Working Rights Additional Info This role is outside IR35 Travel and accommodation are not provided Ideal for contractors seeking flexible work alongside other commitments
