.NET Core Engineer Location: Warrington (mostly onsite) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Overview My client is a growing technology-focused business with a strong in-house development function. They are looking for a .NET Core Engineer to join their team and support the continued evolution of their platform. This is a hands-on role with exposure across the full stack, though with a backend focus. What you’ll be doing Develop, maintain, and optimise backend services using C# and .NET Core Work with SQL databases and ensure data integrity and performance Collaborate with front-end developers (React preferred but other frameworks are acceptable) Contribute to the design and implementation of new features Work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver solutions Tech stack C#, .NET Core SQL Server React (or similar front-end frameworks) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps is a plus Who we’re looking for 1–3 years of commercial software development experience Strong backend experience with .NET Core and SQL Comfortable contributing across the full stack where needed Team player, able to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders Enthusiastic about learning and growing within a small, fast-moving team Process Video screen Technical task (provided by the team) Final onsite/code review This is a great opportunity to join a profitable and stable business, with the chance to make a tangible impact on the platform and work closely with a small, focused team.
