As the organisation continues to grow, we’re seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead the H&S strategy , ensure compliance, and embed a culture of safety and wellbeing across all services. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement a robust health and safety strategy across multiple care and education settings. Champion a positive safety culture , fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure full legislative compliance and promote best-practice safety initiatives across operations. Develop, monitor, and report on H&S performance metrics to drive proactive improvement. Support staff, contractors, and management teams to work safely and efficiently. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations, identifying and mitigating hazards. Deliver health and safety training , coaching, and practical support to empower teams. Collaborate with senior leaders to embed safety excellence in all aspects of service delivery. What We’re Looking For NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (essential). Full UK driving licence (travel required between sites). Proven experience in health and safety management within care, education, or social care settings . Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management frameworks. Confident communicator with the ability to influence, lead, and inspire teams .
