Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join a leading defence and communications technology company based in Northampton. This is a technically hands-on role with strategic importance, contributing across the full product lifecycle—from requirements capture and systems architecture to performance analysis and verification. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will: Develop and maintain systems architecture for high-performance RF (radio frequency) systems. Capture, analyse, and manage requirements across projects. Conduct performance analysis and system verification to ensure operational excellence. Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to technical delivery and high-quality documentation. What we’re looking for: 5 years experience in a similar systems engineering role Exposure to RF (Radio Frequency) systems Worked with both digital and analogue Proven expertise in systems engineering across the full development lifecycle. Hands-on experience in system architecture, requirements capture, and verification. Ability to lead and contribute to technical delivery and produce high-quality documentation.
