Interim Transport Planner (Urgent) - View to moving into Permanent role Salary crica £33k Sunday to Thursday ( 2pm to 8pm) Based near Welwyn Garden City ASAP Start View to moving into Permanent role Purpose of job Responsible for the planning of all of the fleet including WGC and Rochdale. De-Brief Drivers and Liaise with Customer services to ensure smooth delivery of the products. Key outputs/deliverables Complete Purchase Orders Complete Reports COD, Failed Deliveries, Temperature, KPIs, Chenco spreadsheets End of day report Minimize failed deliveries Maximize route efficiency Clear credit stop list Principle responsibilities Plan the fleet daily (WGC & Rochdale) with route optimizer De-brief drivers Monday to Thursday (occasional Fridays) Maintain transport KPIs Completion of failed delivery report Completion of Temperature report Book deliveries and collections Planning deliveries through 3 rd party hauliers Plan Chenco orders Call out service providers if any problems with own fleet Report any service failure to Customer Services Clear credit stop list (Sunday) Send end of day report to AM operator Performance measures Completed purchase orders Completed Reports COD, failed deliveries, Temperature, End of Day Minimize failed deliveries with efficient planning Credit stop list cleared Education and experience Educated to GCSE level Experience in PTV Route Optimizer planning system Knowledge of SAP and Excel procedures Knowledge of multi-temp delivery vehicles Compliance (vehicle & driver) Maintaining reports and KPIs Key Competencies Ability to plan in an efficient and cost-effective manner Good geographical knowledge Computer literate proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite of applications
