ICU RN Travel Job Details Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania 15650 (Southwestern PA) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026) Healthcare Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU, 10 beds) Shifts: Rotating Day (7:00am – 7:00pm) and Night (7:00pm – 7:00am); 12-hour shifts Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1660 - $1700 Patient Ratios: 1:2 (Days, Nights, Weekends) Weekend Coverage: Required (every other weekend) Orientation: 12 hours ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or Compact State (required at time of submission) Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred Ability to manage a 1:2 patient ratio in a fast-paced ICU environment COVID-19 vaccination status required 2 supervisor references preferred ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those with sepsis, renal failure, respiratory failure, stroke, and substance withdrawal Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Operate and manage ventilators, CRRT, arterial lines, and Swan-Ganz catheters Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions Participate in orientation and complete all required facility modules prior to assignment start Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
