Senior PV Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer (PV/BESS/Wind) Milan (Hybrid) €80,000 – €90,000 This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to guide a global company as they transition into an IPP in the Italian market. They are looking for an electrical engineer with experience in high voltage construction projects in Italy who is looking to join an ambitious team. This is a brand-new position within their central technical team, initially focused on Italian utility-scale solar projects, with future opportunities to support construction internationally. You’ll be the technical lead for post-investment activities – managing contractors, supporting construction, and shaping how things are done internally. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the entire group on engineering functions, through development, construction, financing and operations. • Technical designs including feasibility studies, layout designs and technical specifications. • Provide support through the EPC tender process, bids, contracts and equipment specifications. • Supporting project development and construction. • Support stakeholders both internal and external through full project lifecycle. • Potential to also support through grid connections. Key Skills • Experience delivering utility-scale solar projects in Italy • Fluent Italian and strong English • Understanding of grid connections and permitting processes • Confident decision maker, able to work without supervision The Business They’re active in 10 European markets with a pipeline of 16GW across solar, BESS, and wind. This year marks their first step into IPP territory, with a Milan-based team of around 100 people. You’ll be joining at the start of something big.
