Are you ready to add your unique flavor to our journey? Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is looking for a Plant Process Technologist for the Pedrignano Plant. The position will report hierarchically to the Quality & Technology Associate Director. Objective Ensure continuous compliance with finished product standards in line with Quality and Safety regulations Manage and guarantee ongoing process optimization to improve finished product quality and production line efficiency Promote a culture of quality by involving and training plant personnel through dedicated activities Key Responsibilities Identify areas for improvement in the production process to optimize product quality and create technological standards in synergy with Product Development / Industrialization Ensure proper diagnostic processes are carried out for the most frequent consumer reports concerning technological aspects Analyze product hold notes related to quality issues linked to technology, verifying the process to identify root causes and minimize product blocks by managing cross‑functional working groups Promote a culture of technological processes by involving and training plant personnel through dedicated activities (sharing hold notes, tastings, anomalies, and non‑conformities) Detect drifts and/or anomalies from raw materials already in production, define the root cause analysis, and collaborate with other relevant functions to restore standard conditions Supervise and maintain technological process sheets Perform periodic checks of the production process using appropriate instruments (data logger, data trace, anemometer, etc.) Control, manage, and test molds and dies Carry out operational checks and controls on standard process parameters Support R&D, Industrialization, and Continuous Improvement in technological trials Coordinate production line restarts after maintenance shutdowns in collaboration with the technical area Assess line capabilities Take part in the design phases of new products or the improvement of existing ones, following industrialization steps and progressively taking responsibility for process management Requirements Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields 3–5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in production plants or R&DQ areas Training in lean / Six Sigma methodologies is an asset Strong teamwork skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Results‑oriented Fluency in Italian and good level of English Analytical skills Problem‑solving skills Ability to prioritize effectively Information Permanent contract Location: Parma Starting date: January 2026 At Barilla, we are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace where diversity in all its forms is valued and embraced.
