Junior Merchandiser

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Fashion, Clothing Production, Retail Buying, or similar Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with design terminology and tech packs Key Responsibilities: Assist in communicating with buyers and managing basic queries Support the team during line showings and follow-up meetings Attend line showings, take notes, and help with preparing style briefs Send style briefs and ensure accurate follow-through Check purchase orders (POs) against indent lists Assist with coordinating between design and merchandising teams Help track sample development and approvals Compare photo samples against CADs and tech packs and attach necessary documentation File lab dips, trims, and approvals as directed Assist in preparing costing files and maintaining style records Help follow up on delivery timelines and sample approvals Provide admin support to the QA team, including checking samples and basic report compilation File QA documents and assist in preparing sealed samples for warehouse submission Help verify order paperwork and chase bulk production samples when needed
