CAD Technical Designer - Exhibitions Warwickshire £Negotiable Great opportunity for a CAD Technician / Designer to join a leading exhibition design agency! The agency This brilliant design and events agency works with big name brands to design and execute a range of projects including bespoke build exhibition stands and experiential projects. With a super collaborative approach and a driven team we are now supporting them with the hire of a mid-weight CAD Technician to join their studio! The role Reporting to the Head of Creative as a mid-weight Technical Designer you will be the link between the creative designers and the project management department. You will be responsible for turning creative design concepts into detailed 2D technical drawings to be used in the construction, manufacturing and installation of exhibition stands and booths. You will also liaise with external fabrication partners to ensure that designs are suitable for build and installation. About you We are seeking a mid level CAD Technician / Technical Designer who is proficient in CAD software ideally AutoCAD and 3DS Max. Ideally we would like to see backgrounds in exhibitions and events - an understanding of build processes and event/ set design. A strong technical understanding of build and installation processes would be key and you will be used to working on multiple projects at any one time with tight deadlines.
