Application deadline: Nov 25 2025 Amazon is seeking a logistics professional for our Amazon Web Services Team in the Aurora, CO area. Overview Logistics Specialists perform operations across three key areas: Warehousing, Transportation, and Data Centers. They monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, process inbound and outbound shipments, manage an Inventory Management System, and oversee chain‑of‑custody processes. Specialists operate independently and within teams, expediting processes, triaging and resolving logistical issues, and transporting parts between locations using sprinter vans, trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks. Key Job Responsibilities Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check‑out parts to Data Center Technicians and Engineers Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between locations, including localized driving of various transportation vehicles Attend company‑provided forklift operator training Complete company‑provided training in driving box trucks up to 26 ft. in length Handle sensitive/classified materials Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts Occasionally work in an office environment Work overtime as required Physical and Safety Requirements Lifts loads of up to 40 lb. and carries them for short distances Participates in group lifts of 41 lb. or more Frequently pushes, pulls, squats, bends, and reaches Regularly walks, uses hands and fingers, and reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls Coordinates body movements when using tools or equipment Reaches and stretches to position equipment while maintaining balancePushes or pulls heavy objects into position Works in a noisy environment Stands, sits, and walks for prolonged periods Occasionally exposed to temperatures between 40°F and 90°F, and may exceed 90°F About the Team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Basic Qualifications Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in a warehouse environment 1 year experience driving box trucks up to 26 ft. in length 1 year experience operating a forklift or similar powered lifting equipment Experience using a computerized Inventory Management System (IMS) Valid state‑appropriate driver’s license, Driver Qualification File (DQF), or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) DOT Medical Card and eligibility to drive per DOT requirements At least 21 years of age in compliance with interstate operating authority regulations Preferred Qualifications Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong understanding of shipping and receiving, inventory and warehousing practices Demonstrated process improvement and operational efficiencies Compensation and Benefits The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $58,300/year up to $102,200/year. The National base pay ranges from $52,500/year in the lowest geographic market up to $112,400/year in the highest. Pay is based on a number of factors, including location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
