Roster Options: 8:6 (OHS Advisor) | 2:2 (Underground Trainer) Location: Western Australia Engagement: Ongoing | Competitive Rates Epigroup is seeking two experienced HSE professionals to join a leading mining operation in WA. Both roles play a key part in maintaining site safety, compliance, and workforce competency across underground operations. Role 1 - OHS Advisor | 8:6 Roster As an OHS Advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance, support, and leadership to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company standards, and operational procedures. Working closely with operational leaders and site personnel, you’ll help drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across site. Key Focus Areas: Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments Lead and support incident investigations (ICAM methodology) Monitor safety performance data and identify improvement opportunities Assist with emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response Support implementation of WHS systems and initiatives What You’ll Bring: Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum) 2 years’ experience in a similar mining safety role (underground preferred) Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Role 2 - Underground Trainer | 2:2 Roster The Underground Trainer ensures all underground personnel are trained, competent, and working safely in line with site and legislative requirements. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for someone who enjoys mentoring, developing others, and embedding strong safety behaviours. Key Focus Areas: Deliver and assess underground training and inductions Maintain training records and competency matrices Facilitate VOC assessments and refresher programs Identify training needs and collaborate with site leaders Support emergency preparedness and safety improvement initiatives What You’ll Bring: Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – essential 5 years’ underground mining experience (operator, service crew, charge-up, jumbo, or supervisor) Strong knowledge of underground operations and equipment Practical, collaborative approach to training and safety Apply Now If you’re passionate about safety, training, and making a difference in the mining industry, we’d love to hear from you.
