In return, we reward those who passionately work with us towards our vision. About the Role We are looking for a skilled Site Boilermaker/ Rigger to join our team. This dual role will be assisting in the erection of structural steel across construction sites and involves interpreting technical drawings, operating welding and fabrication tools, and ensuring high quality, safe work as a boilermaker, along with safely operating cranes and equipment, securing structural steel and applying rigging expertise. Key Responsibilities Site Boilermaker: Perform tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to quality and specification requirements. Interpret drawings, work orders, and production schedules to guide work. Operate and maintain hand/power tools and welding equipment, including manual and semi-automatic welding. Set up and use fabrication tools like grinders, welding equipment, and carbon rod gauges. Inspect work for defects and ensure conformance with specifications. Cut steel and prepare cutting lists from fabrication drawings. Measure and cut materials with high accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of work areas and equipment. Perform general site and workshop duties as directed Site Rigger: Operate construction equipment (Cranes, EWP’s, Forklifts, etc.) safely. Read blueprints to determine material requirements. Install and secure structural steel members using hoist cables and bolts. Hoist, position, and fasten steel beams and columns with cranes. Dismantle structures or equipment as needed. Conduct pre-operational inspections and report maintenance needs. Apply dogging, rigging, and crane operation knowledge for safe lifting. Maintain and service rigging and crane equipment. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors Skills and Experience Trade qualifications in boilermaking / fabrication; Previous structural steel erection experience; Previous experience working with cranes various sizes; EWP Ticket; Working at Heights ticket; White card; Proven experience using reliable, safe work practices; Flexible approach and cooperative team attitude.
