Adapt OT are looking for an experienced OT to service a complex physical & neurological caseload whilst a senior staff member is on leave from late January to July 2026. This would be a fixed term (six-month) Occupational Therapy contract with possibility of extension by mutual agreement. Full time or part time candidates will be considered. Our Occupational Therapists: Provide creative and evidence-based therapy and support to clients in their homes, the local community, or at our office in central Geelong Prescribe and implement assistive technology, including specialist seating and a wide range of customised equipment solutions. Undertake comprehensive assessment of the home environment and recommend minor and complex home modification solutions to reduce barriers and optimise in-home function and access. Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and comprehensive reports Complete Housing and Support Needs Assessments, including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Supported Independent Living (SIL), and Individualised Living Options (ILO) What We’re Seeking We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team for a fixed term (leave cover) contract, with the view to extending into ongoing work if mutually agreeable. The caseload attached to this leave cover position is comprised of neurological, spinal, amputee, and other clients with complex needs. The role would include scripting and problem-solving Assistive Technology, basic and complex home modifications, pressure care and manual handling input, functional capacity assessments and reporting. Support at Home clients may also form part of the caseload, and these clients typically require OT input for equipment prescription and home modifications. A working knowledge of the caseload requirements is essential, and understanding of NDIS processes is desirable. The successful candidate will be someone who works autonomously, can effectively problem solve and collaborate and has identified their preferred area of Occupational Therapy to be working with adults in the disability and aged sectors. Adapt OT can accommodate full time or part time arrangements. We are seeking an OT who is available to work between 18 and 38 hours per week. Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience within a relevant clinical area Unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist Eligibility for NDIS Worker Screening (inclusive of Working with Children Check and National Police Record Check) Australian Drivers licence and preparedness to use own car for work purposes What We Offer Adapt OT value collaboration, open communication, and a supportive environment that fosters ongoing clinical and professional growth.
