For further information: click here PRIMARY OBJECTIVE Contributes as a member of the Service Delivery team performing routine operation, maintenance and servicing of water and wastewater systems within Yulara and Kings Canyon. Assist in remote communities in the southern region as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The “WHAT” to be delivered Functional • Safely execute all works associated with the operation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of water and wastewater assets utilising a range of tools and techniques. Undertake condition assessments of water and wastewater system assets. Capture all information required for work order close out, including all relevant asset information and record in an approved system. Perform duties in a professional manner, utilising skills, knowledge and experience to achieve appropriate outcomes in accordance with Power and Water policy and procedures including the requirement to enter Confined Spaces and compliance to the Power and Water Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and associated Facial Hair obligations. Provide a high level of customer service through direct interaction and a positive relationship to represent the obligations of Power and Water. Participating in a routine on call roster to provide response to urgent after-hours system faults that may occur. Participate as a proactive and valued member of the team to assist achievement of the team’s objectives, rotating through other similar Water Services roles, both water and sewer, as part of trade technical development. Travel to other regional centres to provide operational and on call support for short designated periods. Leadership • Works collaboratively with others. Delivers on commitments.
