About the role This isn’t your usual residential site management opportunity, and we are looking for transferrable skills, so you may be coming from the commercial sector with a keen interest in residential construction, currently working as a Project Manager or Site Manager with experience in construction. You will: Manage and supervise all construction activities for medium-density residential projects. Utilise your knowledge and expertise to mentor team members – be a technical soundboard for other Site Managers. Develop and implement site-specific plans and schedules to meet project deadlines. Monitor and control project costs, including labour, materials and equipment. Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met. Provide regular progress reports to management and other stakeholders. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery About you The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. You will work closely with other members of the Projects Team to achieve company goals and objectives. Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident You will have over 5 years’ experience in the construction industry within Australia. Strong leadership and management skills. A desire to provide mentoring and coaching. Detailed understanding of Australian building codes and regulations. An aptitude for project management and be technically minded. Strong problem-solving skills and technical construction detailing. Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software. Strong understanding of safety protocols and promotion of a safety culture on your sites. Supervisor’s Licence would be looked upon favourably.
