As a result of the company’s continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for suitably qualified and experienced Blast and Paint Supervisor / QC to join our Henderson team for both Local and Site-based Project Work. About the Role Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise our excellent team of skilled and trained Blast and Painters within our Henderson team for both Local and Site-based Project Work. To be successful for this position, you must possess the following essential experience. Experience in Supervising Site Operations and Workshops Ability to conduct QA inspections and testing as per ITP Previous experience running teams, managing individuals and communicating between different trades Estimation knowledge and experience would be highly desired but not essential. Ability to create, revise and/or submit documentation such as coating reports, ITP’s, JSEA’s etc. The demonstrated ability to ensure that quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations Marine Experience desirable The demonstrated ability to lead in the area of Health and Safety Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Proficient computer skills Experience with 2-pack paints Application methods – Brush & roller, airless, conventional Tickets/Qualifications: NACE 2 (Essential) Desirable; Trade Certificate Working at Heights Confined Space First Attack for Fire MSIC UHP Ticket Why Orontide?
