The Benefits: Lucrative bonus scheme, which is individually tailored to you Genuine flexibility around WFH & Flexible hours Regular internal and external training (Tax Banter etc.) Great tech stack for staff (both in office and for WFH) 3 social events a year alongside weekly social activities like lawn bowls, shooting, cooking, wine tours… Yearly strategy day with whole team & weekly morning tea on Friday Team bonding event (each Team arranges their own event which is paid for by the business) The role: Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders Prepare and lodge income tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns Assist with Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations under the guidance of senior accountants Maintain accurate client files and ensure all compliance deadlines are met Support in preparing management reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies to resolve queries Provide clients with general tax and business advice, escalating complex matters when required Actively pursue CA/CPA studies with support from the firm, applying learning to client work To be considered you will ideally have: Your CA/CPA Qualifications or studying towards Strong tax compliance interpretation skills 3 years’ experience in an Australian Accounting Firm Experience producing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships and calculating Division 7A, CGT and FBT Experience with MYOB AE (preferred) A passion for helping Australian Businesses Excellent communication skills A desire to continuously improve your technical ability How to Apply Apply on SEEK or email your resume to mwrecruitment.com.au Questions?
