Role DescriptionThis is a full-time (parental leave contract) on-site role located at the award-winning Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort. As a People and Culture Executive, you will oversee and coordinate various human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and developing and implementing policies. Your day-to-day tasks will also include onboarding and training new team members. You will work closely with department leaders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring our team feels supported and empowered to thrive. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction. What we’re looking for:Previous experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture role (hospitality experience is a plus)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and excellent organisational abilitiesA proactive, approachable, and team-focused attitudeKnowledge of HR systems and processes is desirable This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic hospitality environment, with an immediate start available.
