Risk OfficerOur client based in Perth is currently seeking a temporary Risk Officer. Your new company Our client is looking for a Risk Officer to join their team on a full-time basis for an initial 3-month temporary contract. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an emerging risk professional to gain valuable experience within a reputable and well-established organisation based in Perth. Your new role As a Risk Officer, your responsibilities will include:Lead and oversee risk assessments, ensuring all identified risks are appropriately rated, monitored, and escalated in alignment with internal risk management policies.Prepare and present risk management reports for senior leadership and governance bodies.Participate in meetings focused on compliance and risk-related matters.Promote a proactive risk culture by encouraging staff to identify and engage in risk management activities.Identify risks that require further investigation and formal reporting.Deliver training on the organization’s risk management system and support continuous improvement of risk capabilities.Assign ownership and monitor compliance with legal and regulatory obligations across the organization.
