Construction Supervisor

We are a custom residential builder established 40 years ago and are looking for an experienced, friendly and energetic construction supervisor to join our Kookaburra Homes team full time. The role involves supervising builds throughout both metro & regional areas. Main Responsibilities Plan, manage, coordinate, and monitor the progress of construction projects Maintain customer and quality management standards Implement construction and project management systems and processes Manage build costs and ensure sufficient trades and supplies for project needs Interpret building plans, regulations, and codes of practice to oversee work progress and ensure compliance Maintain regular and effective communication with the Construction Manager and team members Supervise on-site work to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards and agreed rates Maintain positive customer/client relationships throughout the project Enforce workplace health and safety compliance on all sites through site management plans and regular inspections Requirements Demonstrated experience in construction site management within the housing and construction industry Possession of a Building Contractors License or a Building Supervisors license (class 1 and 2 up to 3 storey's) preferred Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities Exceptional problem-solving skills, technical knowledge of construction detailing, and expertise in integrating complex construction materials Capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines Possession of a current Driver's License
