$85,415 to $96,138 (Dep on Skills experience) 12% Superannuation Permanent Fulltime role Work from our lovely Marina office in Docklands About the role The Waterways Administration Officer sits within the Recreation and Waterways Branch of the Community and City Services Division and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the operations and customer experience of Melbourne’s iconic Docklands and Yarra River waterways. This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations including invoicing, purchasing, leasing, licensing and customer service. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that helps keep Melbourne’s waterways active, accessible and vibrant. The Waterways Unit manages facilities such as Melbourne City Marina and Yarra’s Edge Marina, coordinates on-water litter collection, oversees commercial vessel licensing, and manages seabed leases in Docklands. You’ll be part of a team that works closely with partners across Council and State Government to support the city’s recreational, commercial and environmental goals. A little more about the role Manage accounts processing including invoicing, account reconciliation and debt recovery using TechOne and Newbook systems Provide administrative support for contracts, reporting and audit requirements Coordinate purchasing, staff training orders and service program needs Deliver high-quality customer service and assist with bookings and enquiries Support the administration of agreements, permits, licences and leases in collaboration with the Property team Provide induction training and continuing administrative support to Waterways Unit staff Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance activities Why join Team Melbourne?
