Engineering Technician - 3D Scanning

The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join our high-performing Engineering team. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll travel to mine sites across Australia (and occasionally overseas) to perform 3D scans of crusher parts and wear liners — primarily cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers. What You’ll Do Reporting to the Engineering and Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of a mix of technical and field responsibilities, including: Performing accurate 3D scans of new and worn crusher components on-site. Managing travel logistics and site access requirements (inductions, tickets, etc.) for each job. Assisting with proposals and cost estimates for on-site condition monitoring services. Using laser scanning equipment and measurement tools to collect and process high-quality data. Aligning and preparing scan data for use in 3D modelling and wear analysis. Collaborating with our engineering and product development teams to create detailed wear reports. Maintaining scanning equipment and ensuring all tools are calibrated and ready for use. Upholding strict safety standards and company health and safety policies at all times. About You: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical, field, or mining-related role. Strong attention to detail, especially when processing technical data. Comfortable working in mining and industrial environments. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
