We’re collaborating with our client in the heavy industrial services sector to recruit an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage HR operations across a national workforce. This hands-on, standalone role is perfect for a proactive HR professional with solid experience in heavy industry or blue-collar environments. Located in Brisbane’s south-western suburbs. Lead HR operations across multiple sites for a growing heavy industrial services company Partner with leadership to shape culture, ensure compliance, and deliver people strategies Brisbane-based role | Full-time, on-site position| Collaborative and positive culture What you’ll be doing Drive strategic HR initiatives to build culture and brand Advise and support employees on performance management, standards, and corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with legislation, Awards, and Agreements through clear guidance and support. Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding Guide managers on performance management and employee issues Maintain and implement HR policies and procedures Oversee compliance with WHS team, Fair Work, and payroll legislation Manage disciplinary processes and staff terminations Maintain HR policy and procedure framework Support training and development aligned to business goals Oversee workers’ compensation claims What you’ll bring HR or related tertiary qualification Experience in heavy industry, blue collar environments or transport and logistics Strong knowledge of industrial relations and workplace legislation Excellent organisational and time management skills Confident communicator and relationship builder High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Strong systems skills – HRIS and Microsoft Office Willingness to travel interstate when required Why apply?
