Position Summary Position: Consultant Gynaecologist/Fertility Specialist - Reproductive Biology Unit Location: Mercy Health, Heidelberg Mercy Health (MHW) at Heidelberg is seeking an experienced and flexible Fertility Specialist to join our Reproductive Biology Unit. This rare opportunity will allow you to be a pivotal part of the expansion of the Unit. About the opportunity Part-Time, Fixed Term (six months) role with possibility for ongoing position To support the provision of high-quality fertility care to patients at Mercy Health, Heidelberg. Responsible for the assessment and management of individuals and couples attending with fertility concerns. The position involves both attending outpatient clinics and performing operative cases. ABOUT YOU: AHPRA Registration as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility FRANZCOG CREI or equivalent We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual with extensive experience working in the area of reproductive medicine and infertility. The individual should have experience in the laparoscopic treatment of gynaecological pathology that relates to infertility as well as in the assessment and treatment of conditions leading to infertility. A passion for excellence in patient care and communication, a zest for teaching junior doctors and medical students and a willingness to teach gynaecological surgery, as it relates to infertility to junior doctors, are all essential.
