About The Role The Credit Controller / Debt Collection Officer will be essential in supporting KTL Australia’s financial operations by managing debtor accounts, driving timely collection of outstanding invoices, maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proactively manage outstanding debtor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.Manage and monitor B2B customer credit and terms including all NCI compliance and reporting. Build and maintain strong relationships understanding clients’ businesses and account history to effectively manage collections and support account management.Assist and support the broader finance team with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks as required. Qualifications And Experience Qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field are desirable.Previous experience in credit control, debt collection or accounts receivable. Experience in Cargowise and/or the freight/logistics industry is preferred, but not mandatory.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and not be afraid to have difficult conversations. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads, and work under pressure.Intermediate competency in Excel, broader MS Office applications, and experience using various databases.High attention to detail, well-organised, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.This is an in-office role, Monday to Friday.
