An exciting opportunity for an experienced TechnologyOne Property & Rating Functional Consultant to join a high-performing consulting team supporting a major government initiative. This is a unique opportunity to work on a strategic program that is modernising core systems. You will be part of a collaborative, outcome-driven team delivering real change for communities. The work is mostly remote, with occasional travel to Canberra required. You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of solution delivery, from strategic planning and business analysis through to configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support. The role offers the chance to work closely with stakeholders across government, helping them streamline operations, improve compliance, and enhance service delivery to ratepayers. Contract Details Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract Location: Mostly Remote – occasional travel to Canberra required Rate: $1000 Super per day Start Date: ASAP Clearance Requirement: Australian Citizenship required Key Responsibilities Lead or support the design and implementation of TechnologyOne Property & Rating (P&R) systems, focusing on revenue and compliance. Conduct business analysis to identify client requirements and recommend tailored solutions. Deliver configuration aligned with approved solution designs. Provide training, testing support, go-live assistance, and hypercare. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to a high-performance team culture. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Apply project management principles to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation. About You Strong understanding of Property & Rating concepts, particularly in local government contexts. Proven experience with TechnologyOne CiA (P&R) systems and OneCouncil solutions. Excellent consulting skills including problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication. Experience applying solution implementation methodologies and project management principles. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams. Australian Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work. Willingness to travel to Canberra occasionally as required. What to do next?
