Yard Hand

BTR is a well-established Civil Construction company in Adelaide North with 30 years in the Civil Construction industry. Our Waterloo Corner depot has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us in the position of Experienced Yard Hand . We are looking for an applicant who can take ownership of the BTR depot and is skilled in working within a varied work environment. You will be responsible for performing yard and depot duties, along with storage and maintaining the facilities onsite. Your responsibility will include : Responsible for delivery movement in and out of the yard (including unloading deliveries). Clean and separate fill (loader ticket required). Ensure vehicles and equipment remain clean and tidy and all tools and parts are accounted for. Stock level management and ensuring materials are ready for trades. Keep yard clean and tidy to ensure safety for drivers and staff. Cleaning of equipment. Communicating with coworkers and clients. Manual handling around the yard. Process all Inwards Goods and paperwork as per company procedures. Adhere to company OH&S standards and other related company policies. Bins maintenance and stock control Other general duties as directed. Attitude: Have a friendly and outgoing personality A strong work ethic with a team player attitude Excellent organization and time management skills Extremely reliable Be a self-starter, with a 'can do' attitude Have a flexible and adaptable approach to workload Show interest and enthusiasm in a long-term career at BTR Qualifications/Tickets: Current MR or HR Driver’s License (essential) Loader ticket and experience (essential) High Risk Work License Forklift (desirable) Experience in similar positions would be desirable.
