Stock Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join a fast-paced transport & distribution team in Perth. This permanent role involves overseeing stock levels and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Description Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly. Coordinate with the procurement & supply chain team to ensure timely stock replenishment. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory reports. Collaborate with the transport & distribution team to optimise stock flow and minimise delays. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance stock management efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in stock handling. Support the team with ad hoc stock-related tasks as required. Profile A successful Stock Controller should have: Forklift License (Essential) Proven experience in stock control or a related role within the transport & distribution industry. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in inventory management systems and software. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with procurement & supply chain processes.
