A Permanent Full-Time or Fixed Term Full Time opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager - Public Health, to join the Population Health team in Geraldton. Casual appointments may also be considered. To Be Successful, You Will Have Significant public health nursing experience.Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of comprehensive public health programs including communicable and non-communicable disease control.Highly developed leadership, management and communication skills, including liaising and negotiating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety & Health, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery. Position Profile: This position works collaboratively with key stakeholders to coordinate regional screening and control programs for diseases of public health importance and participates in follow up on notifiable and infectious diseases and outbreak control programs. Provides public health support and expertise to WACHS staff and other professionals and stakeholders in the community. Supports and participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health strategies to promote, protect and improve health in regional WA. Want to know more about this role?
