Due to growth, they are now seeking a HSE Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. The RoleAs an HSEQ Advisor, you’ll provide hands-on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality support across key operational business units, including maintenance and street lighting projects throughout VIC and ACT. This role plays a key part in fostering a proactive safety culture, driving continuous improvement, conducting audits and investigations, coordinating return-to-work programs, and ensuring compliance with legislation and ISO standards. You will also be involved in supporting sustainability initiatives across the business; such as emissions reduction and circular economy practices. About YouThis is a hands-on, field-based role that will see you engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. It’s therefore important you have strong communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships and influence effectively. Formal qualificationis in Occupational Health and Safety. Cert 4 as a minimum, Diploma or higher preferred.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001), and contemporary safety systems.Experience conducting incident investigations and internal audits.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence both office and field personnel.A proactive mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
