About the Role About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated WA Technical & Business Lead to lead Atlantech’s Mining and Technical Services division in Western Australia. This role combines technical leadership, business development, and project delivery, offering significant influence over the future growth of Atlantech in the region. You will lead and manage consulting projects across open-pit and underground mining operations, including Concept Studies, Scoping Studies, Pre-Feasibility Studies (PFS), Feasibility Studies (DFS), Life-of-Mine planning, Budget reviews, and Due Diligence assessments. A key expectation of this role is the ability to leverage your existing network within the mining industry to identify opportunities, secure new projects, and develop long-term client relationships. For the right person, there is potential to be offered an equity stake in the business , in addition to a competitive remuneration package. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of mine planning, design, and study projects for WA and interstate clients. Act as a JORC Competent Person for relevant reserve sign-offs. Drive business development initiatives and bring new consulting projects to Atlantech. Manage multidisciplinary study teams and ensure technical excellence across deliverables. Provide mentoring, guidance, and leadership to junior and mid-level engineers. Represent Atlantech professionally with clients, partners, and within the mining community. About You Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent. Professional Engineer (RPEQ, RPEng or equivalent) registration essential. Recognised JORC Competent Person with proven sign-off experience. Familiarity with NI 43-101 reporting standards highly regarded. Minimum 10 years’ mining experience , including significant consulting exposure. Proven ability to win, manage, and deliver projects across studies and operations. Strong communication, client engagement, and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
