Casual Traffic Controller

About the role Join the Regional Team at Neo Infrastructure (SA) Pty Ltd as a Casual Traffic Controller. As a Casual Traffic Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety of worksites and the public by regulating the flow of traffic. Work will be offered Monday to Friday. What you'll be doing Directing and controlling the flow of traffic at construction sites and other work zones Ensuring the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and workers through work areas Placing and maintaining traffic control devices, such as signs, cones, and barricades Create simple site-specific traffic management diagrams or designs Complete required TM paperwork and submit TMP and Permits to DIT as required Communicating with drivers, pedestrians, and other workers to provide instructions and information Monitoring and reporting on traffic conditions and any incidents or concerns Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures When not engaged in traffic management tasks, person is able to work undertaking various labouring tasks. What we're looking for Construction White card Workzone Traffic Management Accreditation or Evidence of completion of new TTM training modules Current unrestricted Driver's Licence Knowledge of SA road rules, traffic management standards and DIT processes. Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or in a similar role Ability to use a computer confidently to create, edit and submit traffic management plans, complete online DIT permit applications, and maintain records.
