Quantity Surveyor

The Springfield Group are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Elgin. This full-time role is primarily office-based working 37.5 hours per week, with regular travel to site required. It’s an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Group across multiple site locations. Key Responsibilities As a member of our Commercial team, you will: · Be responsible for the day-to-day financial control of a variety of projects. · Be responsible for sub contract procurement and management. · Be required to produce development appraisals, budgets, valuations and cost to complete whilst meeting monthly reporting timetables. · Work on ongoing Partnership contracts with Local Authorities and Registered Social Landlords. Skills & Experience · Qualified to SCQF Level 9 or above in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. · Previous experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction sector. · A strong work ethic. · Excellent communication skills. · Outstanding commercial acumen. · Due to the nature of the role and the site locations involved, a full UK driving licence is essential. Desirable (but not essential) · Experience in new home-building. · Experience in Partnership contracts with Local Authorities and/or Registered Social Landlords.
