Job Description

The key duties of the position include: The Role The Australian Army's Battle Lab is seeking a Senior Security Intelligence Analyst to support a diverse body of work within a team focused on land domain training intelligence. In this role, you will undertake work that is complex, ambiguous and sensitive. As a senior analyst, you will provide security intelligence analysis and produce security intelligence reports in support of the SO2 security intelligence. The senior security intelligence analyst provides the full-time engagement function on security intelligence matters for land domain training intelligence and may be relied upon to liaise with other Army intelligence representatives, and participate in Army security forums as required to support achievement of the team and whole of army security outcomes. Additional tasks include producing security intelligence briefs to support leadership. About our Team The Army Battle Lab team is an integrated work team comprising full and part time military members and APS employees at all levels. The land domain training intelligence team's focus is on land domain training intelligence, which enables and informs the Army training system on current and evolving threats. The team engages broadly to ensure timely and accurate assessment and reporting of relevant intelligence inputs. Eligibility Security Clearance: Prior to commencement, successful applicants will be required to undergo a psychological assessment and an extensive security clearance process. As a Positive Vetting clearance is required, applicants must be Australian Citizens; be able to account for their personal background for their whole life; and be able to demonstrate suitability to work in a high security intelligence environment.
